Someone needs to hold those pricks to the fire over that memo. To blatantly say they are going to sink the country, sink military moral, and sink the Iraqi peoples chance at a new life solely for political gain is absolutely incredible IMO. Someone needs to get on that one like a dog on a bone and make it the sole topic of conversation for the next 2 years. Assholes. It's all about power at any cost.

As far as this flag thing goes I'm not in real good touch with it being in northern WI. But my sense of the statement by Dean was he was saying we need to be courting these illiterate inbreds with the pick up trucks with gun racks and Confederate flags. That isn't the way I would talk about someone if I wanted their votes.

And perhaps they aren't as illiterate and inbred as he thinks since they are voting Republican:)

BOSTON — Howard Dean (search), under fire from his Democratic rivals, stubbornly refused to apologize Tuesday night for saying the party must court Southerners with Confederate flags in their pickup trucks.

Oh give me a freakin' break! The only people that go around with Confederate flags and gun racks in their trucks are in the bad B-Movies that Hollyweird churns out that are suppose to depict life down here.
