Barbra Streisand has written an objection to CBS's decision not to air The Reagans. She decries censorship "to appease a small group of vocal dissidents" and says that the decision whether to air a film should be made entirely on the basis of artistic integrity.

I am now waiting for an equally powerful statement from her in defense of Gibson's The Passion, which a small group of vocal dissidents are trying to censor. I have written her to ask that she issue such a statement. Do you think it will ever see the light of day?
