I believe that if our congress were filled with men like this there would be a whole lot less petty partisan bickering and the quality of legislation would be an order of magnitude better.

Sure, if everybody believe like you and I, we could solve everything overnight, couldn't we? :>)

I agree with you on Zell Miller, Sunny. He is a gentleman. Somehow, the trashmouths seem to have taken over the media including TV, movies, and many things in print by various so called journalists or opinion makers.

Compare him to Daschle, Byrd, Ted Kennedy, and so many others, Carville, Terry McC, etc...

Zell Miller seems to be of the school that could say what he had to say without swearing, raising his voice, or spitting out vile bile.
