I didn't know SF raised the minimum wage but I'll bet if you ask most small business this is a trivial matter vs. the forced healthcare which could add $5/hour to employee costs in some cases. I don't know what we are going to do about healthcare in CA. I was never behind these big single payer healthcare programs that the dems put forth but at this point, something has to be done and unless somebody comes up with a better answer, single payer it is. I am convinced the real reason CA is trying to force companies to provide healthcare is because the big companies in CA are engaging these "subcontractors" <wink wink> to provide support staff with no benefits. Then the taxpayers are stiffed with the bill.
