There was nothing about nationalism in your post -- just "love of country" and "power". I was wondering how you could tell which motivation is dominant in key players in the US. If, for example, Rove and/or Cheney revealed the CIA identity of Wilson's wife, or if they knowingly misled the American people as to the true nature of the threat posed by Iraq, using this to drag us into a needless war, is this for love of country or for power?
