thanks very much for this post. My guess is that most of your comments 99.9% of Americans agree with. Especially the "once we're there we have to finish the job" part. I also think it is fairly unanimous we don't have enough troops and especially not enough career soldiers with all these reservists. Some people think highly of Wolfie and Rummie though. My sense, which is just a gut feel, is that Wolfie is a coward. You get a completely different feel from Wolfie and Rummie vs. a guy like Tommy Franks. It is immediately clear even to me that Franks knows battle, Wolfie seems like an ivy league theoretical guy. Well, there is speculation that Bush will replace Rummie and I for one hope it happens.
