but futures not doing much in either SP or ND...

That is because you are looking at the changes since 4:15pm. They had already popped by then. That is what happens when a key company releases earnings before 4:15pm as Cisco did today.

Naz futures are about up about 15 in total (about 13 after Cisco earnings and 2 points that you are probably seeing right now on the futures quotes). That is, Nasdaq futures fair value is about -13 or so. Same thing applies to SnP as well. Looks very bullish.

Nasdaq afterhours indicator provides the accurate numbers up until 6:30 pm. It reflects the change from the 4pm close. Here is the link.
