You are assuming that PBAs always involve deformed infants.

I don't have any data. My understanding was that this procedure primarily addresses the fetus with the brain growing outside its head and the like. But I really haven't looked at it carefully. I don't have that much interest in it. I'm quite sure it's not done because some woman suddenly decides at eight months that she just doesn't want to be a mom. It's a horrid procedure and it's done to deal with horrid scenarios. We're not talking about infanticide of the simply blind or lame or unwanted.

I know that the procedure is rare and understand that it's done only in dire circumstances. That and my libertarian inclinations are really all I need to know. If someone comes across information that contradicts the dire-circumstances factor, I would reconsider my position.
