My analogy was meant to differentiate between imminent
and potentially dangerous.

I only commented because I began to see a number of references and discussions regarding the Bush speeches and
allegations of misrepresentations about the "imminency" of
the Iraq threat.

I didn't recall the justification for the
war being framed in that way and had to wonder why
people were even discussing it in those terms.

Evidently, you were, or are, against the engagement
in Iraq.

Whatever your position on the subject,
and because I like you so much :-),
I'm going to assume your opinions are not dependent
on whether Bush said the threat was "imminent"
or not in some speech.

His speeches are all available on line. As I said,I am unaware of such a statement being made.
