Well, there is no doubt Bush has had to defend his policy against political attacks. But I don't think he can be properly accused of using the war for political gain.

Rockefeller has been questionned several times over the last few weeks on various cable news programs, and in all instances was obviously attacking Bush for political gain. Brit Hume tore him to shreds; Wolf Blitzer chewed him up and spit him out. He was reduced to a stuttering pile of debris by his inability to answer questions -- he looked downright stupid. Now, this memo proves, beyond any doubt, that his allegations and statements have totally politically motivated.

We're used to it. But it is still sickening.
