I noticed a big drop in crime after 9-11. I don't thin it's ever come back up. Something about 9-11 shocked people into thinking twice about doing wrong. Law enforcement has not been helped though. They've been stretched thin and Homeland Security always get the priority so they have not been able to spend as much time fighting crime. Good thing it hasn't been necessary. We have had a lot of top-level white collar crime though, including the big Bushie phony energy crisis. 100 billion ripped off. When are people going to jail over that?
