Which brings us back to what he was saying....that agnosticism can be applied to any fanciful concept...

In order for agnosticism to be other than intellectual evasion, one must assume some evidentiary basis--both pro and con--whatever the topic addressed.


One point doesn't lead to the other. Lacking any serious evidence pro or con agnosticism is not primarily an intelectual evasion. It might be an evasion if that agnostic was faced with strong evidence pro or con that he or she didn't agree with but could respond to with more then "I'm agnostic", but such evidence isn't available.
