today is an impossible read for me
on the heals of CSCO last night and the good employment numbers this morning the market sure feels flat

I have to wonder if I have rocks in my head or a death wish playing around with wacko stocks like TASR and OHB

but TASR id paying nicely and OHB "should" come in

You know what's been blown over in the midst of all this tension over Cisco and the market and the bulls and the bears:
Cisco last night reported their most profitable quarter EVER. More profitable than during the bubble. More profitable than ever before!

Whatever else you do, step back and think about that simple statement. No revenues aren't exploding higher, and gross margins slipped some rounding error from their all time high. Yes, the stock is overvalued on just about any metric you use. Oh yeah, and those options expensing or not expensing and yada yada.

But the fact is that this giant tech bellweather just reported the most profitable quarter EVER. And that's pretty remarkable considering that everyone thought tech and telecom were dead!
