Elroy, let us know when your area of the country goes on sale for cheap. I can't understand why anyone wants to live there now, but if fires, mud slides and earthquakes don't drive them away....well, just let us know when it all starts going into foreclosure.

Maybe then you'll see the power of demographics, as in people scooping up bargains and driving up the prices all over again.

My sister and her husband left Santa Barbara many years ago to move back home to WASH DC. I've got a friend whose home was damaged and wife injured in a California earthquake a number of years ago. They're back home here now, too.

Amazing how much money they all made selling to someone else. Think positive, Elroy. It works in California, better than anyplace on earth. <GG>>>
