WE'VE STAYED.

This thread remains a bastion of free thought, unfettered by having to pander to the ego of a few individuals.

No need for privacy that I've found, Bill. This is as
sane a group of people as you could want. I am hoping
this thread will become a roundtable where we can discuss
positions and allocations, plus look at a few promising
newcomers. If you don't discuss numbers, what's the harm?
In my own case, I've been looking at my allocation with
respect to volatility. It's been a real roller coaster
ride this year, and I'm way down from my highs. But if
you examine the return rates, allocation hasn't been the
issue:
ytd % allocation %
aol 15.3 7
csco 7.1 17
dell 14.4 43
msft 5.5 17
intc 10.0 0
derivatives 0.5 4
G&K Index 13.3 0
However, I think I should rebalance about now. I sold some
dell calls this afternoon to reduce the impact of dell's
volatility. That will give me time to evaluate additions.
I'm leaning towards emc and intc or emc and more msft.
Opinions welcomed
