What you're saying, is that American patriotism is Good, and Iraqi patriotism is Bad.

No.. that's NOT what he and I have been saying...

Patriotism is fighting for love of one's country, not for the purpose of subjugating the rest of the population under a despotic ruler.

And that's what these terrorists are fighting to achieve. They wish to bring back Saddam, or to institute a Islamo-Fascist regime..

And that's NOT patriotism..

Nor would I consider Christian militants attempting to do the same thing here in the US to be patriots.

Patriots require legitimate backing of the overall population in fighting oppression. And this is clearly not the case with Iraqi terrorists who are trying to prevent the population from cooperating with the Coalition forces to create a democratic Iraq.

Fighting to PREVENT the creation of a government accountable to the people is tyranny, not patriotism..

Which is why the Tories, who remained loyal to the British Monarchy, were not called patriots.
