If Muslims leave, it'll be bad for those cities. If others flee too, that would be a LOT of fun for Jihadis. Hope to god that you're right.. But it has me more worried than past "warnings".. The reason being is that telling literally millions of muslims to disrupt their lives is not something that would merely for the purpose of perpetrating a hoax would likely reduce support for their cause. Likewise, were they ready to launch a biological attack (what I'm most worried about), killing thousands of muslims would ALSO be "bad for the cause". The US, unfortunately, is an incredibly vulnerable society. But it is also a very resilient one as 9/11 displayed.. And it can be a very vengeful society, given it can find an enemy that it legitimately perceives as the root cause of the terrorist attack. An attack that resulted in massive casualities would cause a full-scale mobilization and put the US economy on a war footing. I would also speculate that Saudi Arabia would become a target, if only to decimate the Wahhabist influence that has hijack Islam. with the possibility of making it possible for the Hashemites to resume control over Mecca and Medina. But such an attack by the US could also galvanize the Muslim world behind the Islamo-Fascists.. Either way.. the Militants recognize they are loosing the initiative in this war against the West.. They are on the run, Iraq has been liberated and potentially poses a threat to their Islamist designs.. They need a big "coup" of an attack similar, or even greater than 9/11, in order to regalvanize support for their cause and belief in their eventual victory.. That's why I'm worried.. Hawk
