The PUBS don't want Kerry -- that I know. They always agonize over VETS from Blue States. More to the point & specific to Kerry is the big dough he has access to. He can outspend the rest of the field and take it to the GOP dollar for dollar (well, maybe not dollar for dollar -- but within striking distance).

Kerry went crazy on Dean over the confederate flag decal pickup driving bubbas, and Dean saying he wanted to be their candidate. I see the whole thing as a non issue, yet Kerry devoted space on his web site for it. Made some speeches over it.

The only thing wrong with Dean's idea was the un PC mention of the confederate flag. He was looking for a symbol that would describe the type of voter which he was trying to convince should vote for him for basically economic reasons.

He should have said something like the Bubba vote, or the poor white southerners, would see more economic vitality under his administration. But I understood that it was a poor use of symbolism. Heck we all grew up watching the Dukes of Hazzard. He was hollywood headed on this one.

One thing I know, Kerry will never drop out. He's going all the way. Maybe the last man standing in the end.

It's entirely possible that Kerry's major drawback is that he has supporters like YOU.

Face it, you are scary, AmSp'it. If Kerry were elected, he might give you, as a supporter, a political patronage job.

Nobody here wants to see you in any position of authority. They might just do their best to elect somebody else, solely because of you, and having nothing to do with Kerry.

How does it feel to become an issue and a detractor from your candidate?
