I don't care much for Democracy myself, as a Libertarian guy. You haven't yet understood the thousands of years of human history during virtually all of which people who wanted to be free truely were effectively powerless by and large to change it in their time. And once again the operative words are "wanted to be free". People have to want to be free so badly it hurts and then be willing to endure years of experimentation.......that's the only way you get democracy. Democracy is not for the timid or the weak. The Individual Freedom which America stands for from the heart is a fine thing indeed. To use the word "impose" in front of "Freedom" is a bit of an oxymoron; not in the way you thinking, however. Freedom ALLOWS folks to decide what they want, by definition(your fondest desire, or so it may seem). Get it(well, you ARE slow here)? I am not slow here........its you who wants to see the view of the ME thru US tinted glasses. You can do that but it won't be a clear picture.Ours is a wiser course of action than waiting for Saddam "Hitler" Hussien to act. To heck with mollifying dictators, I like it when we are doing the right thing by people, which we are in Iraq, even if we've often looked the other way in other instances(which one begins to think would please you, despite your complaint in this regard). The Iraqi people are spitting on our generosity. You seem to be against us for having supported dictators who murdered their people in the past, but you are also against us attacking dictators who murder their own people in the present. Are you unable to see the difference between "supporting" and "attacking"? There a world of difference between the two words. Pretty wishy-washy, if you ask me. Wishy-washy? My friends would laugh......there is nothing wishy-washy about me. Did you see the part in the Time article where one anti-American Iraqi who wanted Saddam back, had the mass graves thrown in his face by way of reply from another Iraqi? He had no reply. He thought of the mass graves of Saddam, and he shut up. I never said Saddam and his followers were good, righteous people. BTW where was the anti Saddam Iraqi during the Saddam years? Where were all these freedom loving people? In 30 years of rule, why was Saddam not overthrown by the freedom loving Iraqis? You have no reply either. You should probably shut-up too. We've been talking far too long for you to still have no real reply, but it is so. LOL!
