zonder, Yeah, he caught a lot of heat for being a "B" movie actor. Shoot, they don't even make B movies any more. And I loved the fact that he blamed his agent's sloth for forcing him into politics. And I didn't think his acting chops were all that bad. He was especially convincing playing against type in "The Killers." Of course, he never got leading man heat and was type cast as the second banana. The story goes that when Reagan ran for President, somebody told Louis B. Mayer. "Ronald Reagan is running for President." "No, no, you moron," Louis said. "Jimmy Stewart for President and Reagan for his best friend." <G> But I felt it was ominous when he changed from Ree-gan to Ray-gun. <G>
