Where do you get in on XM satellite radio to make a reasonable purchase of the stock? If you waited for the fundamentals to catch up you would have never owned AOL, Dell,
Mircosoft or Cisco. You would have left a lot of money on the table. That is what happened to all the people who did not buy because of it being overpriced. XM and Sirius will be here a long time because it is a damn good product with a massive amount of future growth. There are 251 millions cars in the United States not to mention how many homes, boats and commercial trucks there are. And then there is the rest of the world.

Tivo and Netflix are not offering anything new. They are offering you another way to get something that you can already get. They just make it more convenient. The satellite radios are offering you cable radio which is new and different. I have a 35 minute drive to work that I used to hate. With my XM radio I leave earlier and drive slower. I bought one for my wife and put it in the kitchen. She now goes in there once in awhile and we end up with an occasional cooked meal.

Im not saying it is the answer to world peace but it can cure boredom and make getting into your car much more pleasant.

I think the stock is one for the long run. It might go down once the rest of the markets decides to retreat but it will not stay there. I have owned it from its high a couple of years ago and I have bought it at $2.00 a share. I have thought the stock had finished its run and sold it only to buy it back higher. I did not decide to hold it for an investment instead of a trade until I got the system. After installing it in my car I was hooked. I think anyone else who gets satellite radio will experience the same feeling. That is why the stock is priced as it is.
