JUST IN! Poll: Bush support plummets for handling of Iraq Last Update: 11/7/2003 8:53:11 AM (Washington-AP) -- A new poll finds public support for President Bush's handling of Iraq continues to slip. The CNN-USA Today-Gallup poll found that 54 percent now disapprove of the president's handling of post-war Iraq. In August, the same poll found 57 percent approved. The number of people who think the economy is in good shape increased from 21 percent in early September to 30 percent now. But the public is divided on whether they approve of Bush's handling of the economy. Forty-seven percent approved and 50 percent disapproved. Bush's overall job approval rating was 54 percent. wtev.com
