I hope you are wrong. I think you are right. The Neocons have bungled their dirty little war from the start. And, of course, it is never the draft dodgers in the Administration who pay the price, but the soldiers, Marines, airmen and squids who go where they're told and do their duties. Been there, done that myself. However, I do think Rumsfeld has some great ideas other than his one big failure, which was to fight a war for no reason. His idea that our military has to become more mobile is right on. And, his idea that we have to have fewer crashes of aircraft and ground vehicles in non-combat situations is something that has been ignored forever.
