Hello Bob,

I get the following message when I tried to post a published article by copy and paste: "Error writing to database".

Is that because the article is too long? I think there used to be a different message for lengthy message.

What is the word limit for posting?

bob, didn't you say one of the first things you were going to work on when you bought SI was the ability so see a poster's last 50 posts? how's that coming?

Bob,

Who is your quote provider? Maybe everyone else noticed this a long time ago, the quotes displayed on the weekend are from test data. For example, on your site MSFT shows a bid of 8.49 and an ask of 43.73 this morning. I'm sure the best bid and ask from Friday's close was 26.10 meaning the spread was less than a penny. This is just one example.

As far as tee-shirts go, I was promised one a few years back when we had the SI International stock picking contest but I never received it. TLC was supposed to send them out. I've always assumed that he never received them from SI or it was sent to someone else. Speaking of TLC, it's been a long time since I've seen him around SI. I hope he's Ok.

Posting Errors

Bob,

Not sure what you have done that generates errors posting messages but I sure hope you clean it up. If length of message is involved, you have shortened the window way too much. Looking forward to rectification by early Monday by the time the casino opens. <g>

Best,

- Eric -

I have a question about membership.
Are the coffee threads still free to join, or is a membership to SI now required?

You still have left this post of libel on SI. Why have you not removed it. Why do you have some need to reveal false personal information about a member of SI on a public thread and lie about it.
