Easton is way out in the country, my friend. Lots of woods, though mostly farmland dotted with small towns. The biggest "city" on the Maryland section of the Eastern Shore has about 25,000 people (Salisbury). Of course, Ocean City has 3 or 4 million visitors a year, but mostly in one or two week shifts, not all at once.

The Keating Five bit it is cool. One of my brothers, with cerebral palsy, gets around in his wheelchair alot, and used to regularly go to the Capitol. He got to be friends with a lot of the Capitol Police, and knew both the officers who were shot by the nutcase a couple of years back, well enough to go to the funerals. He lived near an aid to Alan Simpson, so he would go by her office sometimes, and got to know Simpson a little. As nice personally as he seems on tv. My brother tends to judge people by how they deal with him. He said that guys like Orrin Hatch and Henry Hyde were always friendly and direct when he met them, but Teddy Kennedy was uncomfortable and brusque when he had occassion to meet him. I myself have talked to Hyde a couple of times, and he really is a very good fellow.........
