The problem with Edwards is that he's a very slick lawyer who did plaintiff's trial work and got very rich as a result. I don't think the nation is ready for another slick Southern lawyer in the White House, particularly one who has been as heavily funded by the trial bar as Edwards has been. The issues outlined here are deadly to Edwards' national prospects, as is his incredible lack of experience. In my view, he essentially bought himself a senatorship. 209.157.64.200 freerepublic.com
