I happen to work for a magazine that is sponsored by the John Templeton Foundation, and I've met the man a few times. He's 92 by now.

He recently was interviewed and was very bullish on China. Now, he's the guy who pioneered investing in developing economies and now he gives away $40 million a year...

I'd like to make some direct investments but I just have to get a better feel. Any thoughts you have appreciated and yes, let's do it here on the porch why not.

Porchies--there are a couple of good threads you ought to bookmark. China Greater Stocks, China Greater Junior Stocks (somethign like that)--better yet, to find them, just peoplesearch Julius Wong, he started them both and he's smart. Someone else started China Crockery and posts news.

Not that an economy can grow 20% a year forever, but big growth will continue.

HNP seems to have stabilized around the low 60s and I don't know enough about it to invest. In fact, I need another month or two of reading/researching before I move.

I really am getting used to the futures moves in T's room. When I started watching real time early Sept the 5 minute chart looked so fast to me. Now it looks slow, although 1 m charts look fast. I think it also helping me to recgonize patterns on other charts as well. I use her exactg chart setup, swing method, and indicators, and it's simple and good. I don't like some of the charts people post that look like heiroglyphics to me they have so many friggin' indicators.
