Truth is a defense. War "heros"? Who besides Kerry? What's with the plural? Is he multiple personalities? Maybe murdering that wounded, fleeing, unarmed Viet Cong soldier with his bare hands caused him to snap. Or maybe he snapped first, then did it. Also could have been his giving the order to open fire on that old man tending the water buffalo in the rice paddy that made him lose it.
