"I hate Bush so much that I want to see all his plans founder, even if it means thousands of American soldiers die in Iraq, and the terrorists win," Perhaps there are partisans so small that they would want that just as there were during the last administration, but I sure don't know any of them. My lefty friends grit their teeth and mutter a lot, but they pull for our team. It's one thing to complain about the "bozo" who got them into a position where they have no choice but to support policies they detest. It's another thing entirely to pull for the other guys. It's wise to recognize the distinction. There is no sense in making enemies out of people who aren't.
