The essay has generated a lot of commentary in the blogosphere. I liked this one. Okay, "Ladies," Listen up Put Down That Loofah and Read This Kim du Toit is annoyed that men have become such girls. It's probably because feminism is controlled to a great extent by the sort of lesbians who envy and want to replace men. We have been taught that healthy, necessary male attitudes and behaviors are somehow wrong. What's the real motive here? Convince the world that men are unnecessary; women can do it all, better than we can. Kind of like the motive behind Wicca, which is also popular with lesbian feminists who aren't fond of men. Don't like the supposedly all-male God of the Bible (a misconception in and of itself)? Find a religion with a bunch of goddesses. Pretty stupid. A culture without strong male role models is a culture doomed to anarchy and violence, much as a culture without strong female role models is a culture doomed to really bad furniture and filthy carpeting. I wouldn't be too worried. Our behavior is dictated largely by biology, so the stupid, unnatural, effeminate behaviors forced on us by the left will not last forever.
