I stopped giving interviews a good twenty years ago. Never once did a reporter accurately represent what I said and I got tired of it. I didn't attribute to bias or an agenda. I just attributed it to them not taking the time and energy to understand what was being communicated. Except for top notch reporters, the really smart and insightful ones, I think that's just the best you can get. Of course bias compounds the problem, but accuracy would still be a problem without bias and agendas.
