But what you're providing evidence for is that the Iraqis are less selective in their terror targets, and are therefore presumably *more addicted to terror* than the Palestinians. This supports my point, which is that the Iraqis are every bit as nasty as the Palestinians, if not more so. Unlike the Iraqis, the Palestinians are not convinced that the UN (or US) is plotting to steal their oil. They don't have any. But despite this difference, it is not a fact that the Palestinians have not attacked groups that are "trying to help them". For example, the US is not occupying Palestine, but Palestinians nevertheless recently blew up a car that was escorting a US diplomat on a mission to give scholarships to Palestinians. Kurtzer said the *convoy was headed to Gaza to interview Palestinian candidates for a Fulbright scholarship*. ... truthout.org Also note that I included a quote showing UN support for the Palestinians, which is why the UN is largely left alone in Palestine. If the UN had not helped the US sanction and then occupy Iraq, the Iraqis would probably feel more friendly towards the UN. Simple logic would suggest that if we matched our policies towards Iraq and Palestine to the UN policies towards Palestine (but not the UN policy towards Iraq), we would be targeted less frequently by terrorists. Before the war, simple logic suggested that if we ran a foreign policy that was similar to that of the Israelis (occupying an Arab country), we would be rewarded with the same problems that the Israelis endure. -- Carl
