The latest Newsweek poll (Nov 6-7) among Democrats shows Dean in the lead.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz!

I've been thinking more about the electoral college and the fact that I no longer feel an itch to vote. I live in a red state. If I want to vote for a Republican, there's no point making the effort because he will win anyhow. If I want to vote for a Democrat there's no point in making an effort because he won't win. The more polarized we get, the less it makes sense to vote. That's not a good thing. If we had a popular election, every vote would count.
