Just because WMD haven't yet been found, don't be fooled into thinking they don't exist... sadam insane himself said he had them and promised to destroy them... where is the evidence that he destroyed them?

The kind of operation Al Queda runs can easily operate on multiple fronts.

If there even is an Al Queda anymore. How do we know? We have to go on the evening news and what they say. But who controls that? Elites who are firmly in Bush's camp. I think we have entered a time of reduced freedom where the "ruling elite" thinks it's better if we don't know everything. And even manufacture some "truth" to make it easier to do what they have in mind. It's hard to accept but it is not a new thing. Disinformation is an old trick. There were plans written recommending the invasion of Iraq before Bush was elected written by PNAC.

To stay on subject I will add that there is a good chance Bush will be re-elected given all the variables. It's a difficult job to unseat an incumbent president. And the tight control of the press and it's reluctance to attack Bush on any of his many crimes. Also the security issues surrounding the Diebold voting machines and the very real possibility of voter fraud. And the fact that Deibold executives are firmly in Bush's camp and seem to (according to the Deibold memos) object to the public having the right to vote. That really is a returning to the roots of this country when only land owners could vote anyhow. This countries government was controlled by the "rich" then too (they were moral men, unlike today). White male landowners were the only voters in the country. No women, no blacks or any other minority. So to the "ruling elite" returning to that standard might to them seem very patriotic.

When the chips were down. Sadam pleaded for help, to those who would come and help defeat the U.S.. Terrorists have been coming in from Syria and Iran. There are more terrorists groups than just Al Queda.

Doing nothing sends a signal, come get us over here. There were proven terrorist camps in Iraq. After 911 the president said he would fight terrorists and the counties that supported and harbored them. He is doing just that. A hornets nest gets bigger and bigger if you do nothing. How big do you let the nest get before you do something. When the nest is stirred up they don't build. This President is committed and won't stop till all the nests are destroyed.
