It seems to me that the point of the material is to instill maximum fear and panic to enrich Mr. "Pluvia" at the expense of other investors. So, who needs accuracy or focus?

I don't think technically that oil or natural gas is a mineral. Accuracy does count. ahem... dictionary.reference.com min·er·al "An organic derivative, such as coal or petroleum" but other definitions are in your favor... en2.wikipedia.org "To be classified as a true mineral, a substance must be a solid and have a crystal structure. Mineral-like substances that don't strictly meet the definition are sometimes classified as mineraloids." bottom line... oil, gas, gold, diamonds... blah blah blah the same scam has been run in these industries for ages. nitpicking definitions does not change the point of my message =)
