I thought Bush was very low key about the growth. It was economists and analysts that were singing the praises. I remember hearing Bush say something like he wouldnt be satifsfied until every person looking for a job found one and that 7+% growth was an abberation that couldnt be counted on continually. Maybe I am beginning to hear things in my old age? (gg) jdn

Lizzie,re:"the message of ..". I was chatting with a fairly
senior person in my company while he was giving me a ride.
The message was blunt and not surprising : "all hiring and
growth are in India, no other facilities around the world
is hiring/growing". If I were an Indian, I'll repatriate
and buy some business, realEstate and waiting to retire,
soon. If any 'personal-income-grow' exists, it goes right
to the top, the elites, the winners. Gov. statistics is now
more or less re-election propaganda. The better the number
the Gov. throws out, the worst off for most American, or
the administration's elites calls: THE LOSERs, the lazy,
un-innovative LOSERs.
