The gist of the essay attempts to resolve itself after many other reasoned arguments, into a simplistic conclusion: if WMDs are found, W is worth supporting. After all the other issues of reason, that's a bit of a nonsequitor.

After reading this I have a prediction: WMDs will be found.

There's no doubt in my suspicious mind, simply because it's much too easy to take existing evidence in Kay's report and make that claim, and almost as easy to manufacture any further needed details. Half will believe it, half won't, but the rhetoric will be scaled up, and Mr. Chris Re will be among them.

This will be coincidentally in late October. Place your bets...
