Bush, Cheney and Ashcroft will never allow it though...This war could and should have been avoided -- many leaders in CONgress and in countries around the world know this too. It's Bush's arrogance and failure to do his homework that caused us to miss key diplomatic opportunities. The NeoCONservatives were driven to change the regime in Iraq and they used 9/11 as an excuse to claim that 'the world is different' and we must act in a pre-emptive way.
