It didn't, really - it reached new highs for the move since March lows on Friday, than backed off to fill the gap. Monday is a new day. I guess, it's the same folks running these markets who don't want to pay up for the calls they sold. These markets are totally controlled by derivative markets now, or so it seems to me. That's why you often see gaps on 1-minute chart during the day - large futures orders. It's a market where orders are instantaneously filled.
