Clark has a 75% chance of being Veep IMHO and 10% of being prsident. That is if Bush is defeated. I'm not sure Clark is ready to head the ticket but he's almost a lock for VP candidate.

It's no secret that I'm with you on this. I thought that Ike was the last general I would support (Hell, I was 7 years old, but he does look better with time), but I fell in love with this guy when I saw him on Maher's show, B4 he announced.
Aside from everything else,the General is the only one who can appeal to the Clark Republicans. Yeah, I know that is a non-sequitur, but picture your elf saying Gepphart Repubs or Kerry Repubs, etc. That is not going to happen. Clark has the best chance of getting the indy and moderate R vote.

I don't know if mud slinging will hurt him too much if he doesn't sling it back and just puts forth and defends his policies. People seem to be turned off by the fightinmg; at least the ones they talk to on the tube after debates.
