Wouldn't it be nice if just one of the 999 Demos running for president would explain his plan...or at least what he would do different.

The only one who has even confronted the issue at all is Clark, and his plan is to turn it over to NATO. I guess he doesn't yet know that Germany, France and Russia do not want to play...not even as NATO partners.

We have us a 20-30 year war going and not a single demo with a forward looking vision...They are all focused on the past.

What crap. You and I are old enough to remember Frank Church and the damage he did to our intel capabilities in the immediate post-Viet era. This is all detritus from that shameful period. I don't see how they can reconstitute the intel committee without a new billboard of actors. It won't change anything but the marquee. Great thread Bill. It has become a must read.
