Investment Strategy

“Did I sleep past my train stop?”

The call for this week: For the past few weeks we have repeatedly stated that the economic reports, and employment reports, would probably be stronger than the consensus estimates. Clearly that was the case, yet the stock market has failed to gain much upside traction on said reports. That potentially implies that the “good news” has already been priced into the markets. With a Veterans Day holiday tomorrow, a lot of the “pros” will take the first part of this week off, which makes Wednesday likely the first real day to key off of for the markets' near-term action. We still think the markets are rolling over here.
