Eva, Obviously this noise is in support of short activities, so far he is not doing the short side any favors. Personally, I am a pretty total believer in free speech, so would not favor "banning" -- although you could, of course, if you want report a TOS violation to SI if you think it is warranted. Generally, I appreciate any information that helps me rethink my positions, and puts the other side forth. In this case, I haven't found anything very informative yet, just a lot of posturing. I started this thread to discuss Ivanhoe, and I'm inclined not to be sidetracked any further by this short seller, although I will read respectfully anything he comes up with. I've read many of your posts in the past, and think you've got a lot on the ball as an investor, so I hope you stay on this thread as I have learned from you. Thanks, PB

Hallo, Lebenskuenstlerin! Die beste Antwort gibt fuer normal die Company selbst. Eine profitable Firma wird von Value Investors ganz von selbst entdeckt und gekauft, egal wie viel short selling es gibt. Dies gilt - wie wie bereits wissen - nicht fuer Buden a la, EM-TV, Comroad, Lernaut und Hauspie und wie sie alle hiessen... Ob ein Report richtig oder falsch ist werden wir erst in einem Jahr sehen...

Pluvia is just doing what Calandra and Friedland and all the rest of us do - talking his book ..... he's made a call, taken a position, now he'd like to influence others to see it his way, nothing wrong with that in principle .... and you got to admire the brass of the guy, using 'truth' in a thread title, in caps no less, hoo-hah ..... so far today's score looks like it'll be Calandra 1 Pluvia 0, could be P's karma for dissing the g.w.n. yesterday morning -g- .... i'm unclear as to on what is recent ie.to speculation based, is it mostly the chinese gas claims and the possibility that they'll spin off Sunwing, float it on Hong Kong? .... cheers
