I absolutely agree with you, AS. Back up your statements with facts.

Like this one:

"I have no issue with Laura Bush except one of her causes is breast cancer research which her husband cut by 50% as soon as he got into office."

The only trouble is, that 50 percent cut never happened, now did it? Or perhaps you would like to back up your statement with facts, like you are (rightly)demanding of others?

I think breast cancer research is very important. My wife's mom survived it, at least so far, and my wife and daughters are at higher risk for the disease. If Bush had cut funding by 50 percent for breast cancer research I would lead the criticism.

I had never heard from anywhere else that he had done that, so I looked it up. From what I can tell it isn't true. When you say "C'mon, back up your statements with the facts," I heartily agree. Do as you say. I'll be waiting.
