What kind of a threat was that? What did Saddam have with which to threaten us? What an inane question... That's like asking what a paltry group of terrorists living in Afghanistan had to threaten us with.. It's WILL.. and MOTIVE.. GST.. The fact that the US stood in the way of Saddam's grand design of subjugating the entire region beneath his power, as well as to eventually reintroduce his WMD programs (which we HAVE CLEAR EVIDENCE he was prepared to do once the sanctions were lifted)... This is a guy who was willing to attempt the assassination of GWBSr in 1994, as well as re-threaten Kuwait with invasion again.. And we already KNOW he was violating the UNSC resolutions by blatantly working on long-range missile technology.. And we still have those 6,000 unaccounted for WMDs.. But people like you see hell-bent upon believing Saddam over the UNSCOM/UNMOVIC inspectors. Hawk
