David, I agree with you wholeheartedly re politicians having no idea of the ramifications of the global economy on the average person. That's why it is desirable to somehow enact term limits for political office as well as elect those candidates with hands on experience running a private business. It will take a miracle to get a current crop of politicians to pass a term limit rule but now & then, a miracle does seem to happen. Thanks for the interesting discussion. It's comforting to know there is someone down under keeping a wary eye on world events as well:o) My Best, Ann
