lance lewis thinks the gold shares get smoked. this is going to be interesting. meanwhile, my cau made a new high today.

Again, I want to urge subscribers to be careful in the gold shares. If stocks in general are finally ready to roll over, the golds will be taken with them. And while it should just be a correction (although it remains to be seen whether such a correction will be as short as we have become accustomed to over the last couple years) such a selloff in the golds is likely to be fairly violent. If one is using leverage, it could be very painful. In fact, the South African shares will likely make new lows if I am correct about what is coming. With the rand still trending higher and gold only rallying in dollars, the South Africans’ margins continue to be squeezed. For those that care, I’m actually short GFI and HMY at the moment and have been for a couple weeks now.
