Here is another table that may help in looking at earnings changes for each individual stock in the Group. The table shows what the estimates were last year at this time compared to what they are today. For each stock it is easy to compare what "they" were saying last year for "next years" earnings compared to what they are saying now for "this years" earnings. Since the table shows the estimates a year apart, number columns 2 and 3 are directly comparable. For example, last year at this time, AMAT earnings for "next year" was listed at 0.35. Now, a year later, the same estimate is 0.13 in "this years" column. All stocks can be compared in the same way - this is an apples to apples comparison to what they are saying now compared to a year ago. As you can see, a lot of deterioration for most stocks has taken place.
