Mitsubishi Motors Posts 1st-Half Loss on U.S. Loans quote.bloomberg.com What I think happened was that Mitsubishi failed to grow it's loan portfolio fast enough so that delinquency ratio wouldn't rise significantly. Which is a main requirement for running a successful Ponzi scheme. I think eventually we'll hear similar news from Ford/GM.
