Well nearly all presidents don't have 9-11, or unilaterally invade a country that hasn't threatened us. So what?
I'm saying it is likely that IF Dean pulls away (and it's way too early to say he will) then Gore may enter and stop Dean cold. Then and only then, Gore would be likely to pick Clark as a running mate and to beat Bush. But none of this is anything more than conjecture.

One thing I know if you don't, that is that Gore can now actually PROVE he was cheated out of the election, thanks to investigative reporter Greg Palast's in-depth work exposing the voter roll scrubbing. It wasn't the hanging chads or even the recounts, it was the voter rolls themselbes. 57,700 mostly legal voters not allowed to vote. Most of those minorities, most of those likely Gore voters. Bush "won" by 1200 votes, right? Therefore, Gore deserves to win. And Clark would be a lot stronger choice for Veep than Lieberman. Clark could take away a lot of that pro-military vote from Bush, and there are lot of those voters in north Florida.
